The Refresh Bar at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center is a space that brings refresh, respite and recharge to the many guests and health professionals on the campus. Silva Stowell worked with the team to optimize the 421 square feet of interior floor space. The team was able to provided direct access to the exterior by adding a 634 square feet of patio area. This once unused space added daylight into Refresh Bar while also providing a comfortable lounge space outside while on a break or waiting for a prescription.
